About me

I am an experienced and very professional print journalist and web content strategist. I am so professional, there’s no way you won’t be impressed. If we wind up working together, I bet you’ll think “Holy cats, this woman is amazing!”

I have a proven track record of increasing site quality, user engagement and traffic through content strategy, which involves working with clients to determine what will work, based on goals and target market.

My areas of interest and expertise include, but are not limited to, entertainment, music, movies, books, pop culture, dating, relationships, lifestyle, health and careers.

Currently, I am a columnist for Toronto alt weekly NOW magazine, and a careers blogger for Workopolis.com.

I am an excellent researcher and am convinced that I can find you an expert on any subject you can dream up. I’m also a kick-butt interviewer and have interviewed hundreds of subjects, including dozens of medical professionals and scientists, as well as musicians and celebrities, ranging from Selena Gomez and Carrie Underwood to Snoop Dogg, Bruce Dickinson, Frank Black and Steve Earle.

All of the above were lovely. If you’re wondering, I think the worst interview I ever had to do was with Dave Navarro from Jane’s Addiction. He was not lovely. He was rude and kind of mean.

As for my other talents, I mix a mean bourbon Manhattan, do a pretty good Axl Rose impersonation at karaoke, and my bolognese sauce is nothing to sniff at. Sometimes I also suspect I’m psychic, but there’s no actual proof of this. In case you find yourself in need of any of these services.
